Classes are about to start and at the Polytechnic of Porto School of Media Arts and Design everything is ready for a start with all conditions.
The building that will house the new tv, sound, multimedia and editing suites is almost finished, ready for the start of the new school year. The construction of Building G was part of a requalification and expansion project for Campus 2. The construction, adjacent to the Luís Soares auditorium, started in late 2018, and was completed in July 2020.
Building G houses has a tv studio, a photo studio and BlackBox, to which are added a warehouse to support the studios, eleven editing suites, a voiceover booth, a sound recording studio with two régies and a service area, production and requisition of equipment from the Production and Resources Center.
The completion of this project, in order to reinforce the eminently practical model of teaching-learning, fulfills the purpose of guaranteeing students conditions and equipment essential for their academic life, as well as for their professional life.
