THINK GLOBAL

Mobility is part of P.PORTO quality standards and a transversal challenge to all of its activities.

Going beyond its own borders and interests is not only a fundamental axe of P.PORTO development strategy, but also a paradigm present in its campuses. We strongly believe that this environment contributes to a better classroom work, enhances creative thinking and strengthens scientific minds.

P.PORTO offers to the international student an open, challenging and multicultural community distributed by eight schools:

Porto School of Engineering
Porto Accounting and Business School
School of Education
School of Music and Performing Arts
School of Management and Technology
School of Health
School of Hospitality and Tourism
School of Media Arts and Design

We are a global, challenging and open community, as a result of cooperation programmes with over 700 institutions in four continents. We participate permanently in international research and education programmes.

We welcome an average of 500 international students in P.PORTO Schools annually. 48 universities from 19 countries welcome our teaching staff every year. 200 students of P.PORTO participated in exchange programmes last year. Communitarian programmes have made available vocational work placements for researchers and postgraduate students at international companies.

The support structure to P.PORTO internationalisation comprises a main International Relations Office (GCRI), located in the Polytechnic's Secretariat, who works together with each of the International Offices operating at each of the eight schools. All at P.PORTO strive to create more and better cooperation opportunities with existing partners and to develop P.PORTO actions at a global scale

The usage of the ECTS System and of The Diploma Supplement is also an important drive to make of our students, graduates, lecturers and staff real citizens of the world. In a nutshell, here all opportunities are open in a universe without borders.

Wherever we are, we are on the move.
