The aim of the present 2nd cycle training offer is to develop skills in the scope of clinical reasoning, by contemplating the components of evaluation, diagnosis and intervention in the area of Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy, in order to enhance the academic and professional enrichment of the student. This course is directed exclusively to physiotherapists, having a current syllabus and supported by scientific evidence, appropriate to the specific learning needs associated with the area of Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy. This will be the first national master's degree in the field of Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy, having been conceived and planned according to the principles described in the Bologna Declaration, reflecting the student-centered learning concepts, as well as the European Credit Transfer System to assess the effort made by the student in this learning process. Our students will have the opportunity to learn from a team of professors of national and international reference, who are dedicated to clinical practice and research in the specific area. The master's degree is based on in-depth knowledge of important domains of Physiotherapy, and the other areas of knowledge that support its practice, namely functional sciences, morphological sciences, biochemistry, biomechanics, social and human sciences, physics, biostatistics and pharmacy. The focus of Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy is to enable the integration of knowledge and understanding of the integumentary, endocrine, metabolic, lymphatic, circulatory and myofascial system in human function and movement. These systems are an integral and fundamental part of the study plan of the Master's Degree in Dermatofunctional Physiotherapy in the 1st year, also counting on curricular units, with a practical component, which detail the prescription of physical exercise in detail, the fundamental interventions in the pre, trans and postoperative period. surgical conditions, and differentiated interventions in specific anatomical sites (facial and urogenital region). In this cycle of studies it is still possible to develop skills in research, management, entrepreneurship and marketing in Physiotherapy. The 2nd year consists of a curricular unit of Dissertation / Internship (with a total of 60 ECTS), in which the student develops a master's dissertation or internship report, under the guidance / supervision of a doctoral or specialist teacher.
