Applied Management Research Unit
The mission of this unit is to promote and develop transversal applied scientific research, especially in the field of business management, tourism and public policies, thus seeking to establish a strong link between theory and practice, as well as transfer of knowledge to society. UNIAG is born from the collaboration of researchers from 4 Polytechnic Institutes (IP) of Bragança, IP of Cávado and Ave, IP of Porto and IP of Viana do Castelo - members of the Association of Polytechnics of Northern Portugal (APNOR) . Its genesis is based on the identification of common areas of interest, using synergies to ensure that research resources reach a critical mass, stimulating the encouragement of innovation and experimentation.
