The graduate in Medical Imaging and Radiotherapy can work in the context of Clinical Radiology (in the areas of diagnostics and therapeutics), Radiotherapy (treating patients with ionizing radiations) and Nuclear Medicine (performing exams with diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, whether through methods of information/image acquisition or radio-immunoassay techniques, using medicines marked with small quantities of radioactive isotopes). In this regard, this professional can integrate multidisciplinary teams who work in public and private healthcare institutions, such as hospitals, health centres, clinics, among others. In addition to this, he can work autonomously in companies, sports centres, and also undertake teaching and research positions in Higher Education Institutions.
