With the Festival of Performing Arts Schools (SET), ESMAE intends to implement a series of cultural, artistic and pedagogical objectives that include the active participation of national and international theater schools, fostering the union, discussion and reflection of themes related to the Artistic teaching and current theatrical practice.
In its 8th edition, SET brings to Oporto 28 performances of theater, music and dance created by students and teachers from different schools in the country.
During this festive week, SET presents, as its final show, the play, staged by Graeme Pulleyn and carried out by our Artistic Residence, working on the theme of tourist contamination. This year, and in partnership with Banco Santander Totta, the festival holds for the first time a prize delivery.
