In the 2019 edition, the first of its kind, the winner was Fátima Ribeiro, who graduated in Nuclear Medicine from the School of Health (ESS) in the academic year 2017/2018. ESS also won the second prize, awarded to Lúcia Monteiro, alumni of the degree in Nuclear Medicine in the academic year 2017/2018, with the Therapeutic work with Radio Dichloride-223 in Prostate Carcinoma: National Reality.

The Technical-Scientific Area of Nuclear Medicine and the Coordination of the Degree in Nuclear Medicine are to be congratulated for all the work developed and the quality of its professionals. The external recognition attributed to these works, follows the recent scientific presentations and that should be substantiated in scientific publications in the preparation phase.

The members of ATC Nuclear Medicine highlight "the great pride and joy of contributing to the professional growth of ESS friends, colleagues and alumni." These awards were due to ESS ATC of Nuclear Medicine over the last few years, which focuses on training professionals of excellence and disseminate the importance of this area.
