The 3x3 European University Basketball Championship, which took place from July 31 to August 4 in Matosinhos, watch the men's team of the Students Union (AE) of Porto Accounting And Business School (ISCAP) P.PORTO, win second place in a losing final (9-21) for the Lithuanian University of Vytautas Magnus.
Previously, the AEISCAP team had defeated the National Technical University of Athens (17-16) and the University of Malaga (21-16). In the women's competition, the team of University of Aveiro lost, also in the final, to the Ukrainian National University of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian.
In all, 18 women's teams and 25 men's teams participated, totaling over 200 student-athletes from 22 countries. This edition of the 3x3 European University Basketball Championship was a co-organization of the Porto Academic Federation with Polytechnic of Porto and University of Porto, under the auspices of the Academic Federation of University Sports (FADU).
