P.PORTO offers 2852 access places at CNAES 2019/20

July 17 marked the opening of the National Contest for Admissions to Higher Education 2019/20

The National Contest for Admissions to Higher Education began in July, a crucial moment for thousands of students now deciding a good portion of their academic future.

The first phase of applications already closed on August 6th and the second phase runs from 9th to 20th September. The Polytechnic of Porto offers this year 2852 vacancies, in 56 degrees, covering a diverse and extensive portfolio of areas. We remind you that the application for Public Higher Education is, as in recent years, made through the online system available on the website of the Directorate-General of Higher Education (DGES).

to be eligible for the CNA, the candidate must hold a secondary education diploma, or equivalent; take, or have taken within the last two years, the national exams corresponding to those required for entry in the course(s) and school(s) and satisfy any prerequisites required by the school/course they will apply for.

Students with legally equivalent, non-Portuguese secondary school diplomas can also apply to the CNA (e.g.: students from the European Union who wish to take a course at the P.PORTO). In these cases, the entrance exams will be substituted by final exams in the subjects of those courses, according to the conditions defined by DGES.

P.PORTO has a Higher Education Access Office, which provides specialized support to the National Access Competition applications.
