The IC CIPEM 2021 International Conference on the theme Perspectives in Music Psychology and Music Education brings together researchers, teachers, musicians and psychologists involved in music education, performance and composition, to discuss current issues in music education and psychology, and reflect on the roles of music in people's lives in contemporary societies.

IC CIPEM 2021, to be held September 16-18, brings together 130 researchers from 16 countries. The program includes three keynote speakers: Eric Clarke (University of Oxford, UK); Susan Halam (University College London, UK); and Glenn Schellenberg (University of Toronto Mississauga, Canada).

In addition to the invited speakers, IC CIPEM 20121 will bring together 107 authors who will present 69 papers in parallel sessions, three round tables and seven posters. Presentations in three languages - Portuguese, English and Spanish - reflect the inclusive purpose of the event. A final concert features the ESE Choir, with students from the Music Education degree who will perform themes from Portuguese music, especially dedicated to our international audience.
