As always, Porto Design Factory (PDF) opens its doors to partners and community to make known the preliminary work developed by the students during the first quarter.
"Throughout the year there are three distinct moments of presentation, validation and evaluation of the different work stages," says Rui Coutinho, coordinator of the Porto Design Factory, "the "Fall Presentations" is the first formal moment of presentation of the 14 projects."
The projects presented are divided into four training programs: the Postgraduate in Product Innovation ME310 Porto, the SQUAD program (Digital + Design + Business), the A3 Challenge Based Innovation (CBI) and the program in partnership with Aalto, the Product Development Project (PDP).
The innovation projects presented involve transversal groups of the Polytechnic community of Porto: students from the School of Media Arts and Design (ESMAD), Porto School of Engineering (ISEP) and Porto Accounting and Business School ( ISCAP) and respond to challenges posed by 14 companies from all over the world and in collaboration with more than 20 universities.
"It's a day we celebrate innovation and research, done in network, for partners and with our partners," concludes the coordinator of the PDF.
