Blended Mobility Project example of good practice

This project led by Politécnico do Porto was evaluated by the European Commission as a unique example of Good Practices in the scope of Mixed Mobility

Good practices from Erasmus+ funded projects, such as Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education, are a good source of inspiration and information for higher education institutions organising blended mobility for their students and staff.

The European Commission, within the Commission's Directorate General for Education and Culture (DG EAC), has produced last May the Higher Education Mobility Handbook For Higher Education Institutions, This guidebook disseminates projects that have produced, for example, guidelines, concepts and materials to support Higher Education Institutions in organizing blended mobility activities.

The Blended-AIM project (KA2 from 2015, coordinated by the Polytechnic of Porto) is referred to as (the only) example of good practice for designing curriculum project courses in blended mobility.

The project provides comprehensive guidelines and a toolkit to help design mixed internship programs. The partners have developed an innovative concept for blended mobility where students from different institutions work on real-life problems suggested by companies. Participants physically meet the companies twice during a week during the course of the blended mobility and the rest of the work is done remotely online.
