The ESMAE Rampa Jazz Festival is a festival produced by the Association of Students (AE) and entirely organized by students of Escola Superior de Música e Artes do Espetáculo (ESMAE), coinciding with the recital dates of the end of the year.
This edition will count with the presence of the ESMAE Big Band, Pedro Melo Alves Omniae Ensemble, Hoppers Swing Band, among others.
Adding to the recitals and concerts, every night of the festival ends in the already famous Jam Sessions. This is an element of ESMAE's regular program of ES, already recognized in jazz, essential in promoting the direct sharing of knowledges, ideas and impressions between invited musicians and spontaneous participants, in an open stage dynamic, in an environment Relaxed and able to provide everyone with an unforgettable musical and cultural experience.
This edition, like previous years, also features a lindy hop dance with the swinging of the 1920s and 1930s. Also note the parallel programming of masterclasses, workshops, lectures, documentary shows, Comprehensive, with jazz music as the central theme.
