Mobility projects for learning purposes of students, teaching staff and staff of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs):
Student Mobility
Study period in an HEI abroad; Period of probation (work experience) in a company or any other place of work abroad;
The period of study abroad may also include a probationary period.
Staff Mobility
Teaching period: IES teaching staff or companies can teach in a HEI partner abroad, in any area of study / academic discipline;
Training period: professional development of HEI teaching staff and non-teaching staff through training events abroad (excluding conferences) and job shadowing / observation / training at a partner HEI or other relevant organization abroad.
CONSORTIUM NOW
The Erasmus NOW Portugal Consortium (NOrth Working Portugal) is managed by the Association of Polytechnic Institutes of the Northern Region of Portugal (APNOR), composed by Polytechnics of Porto, Bragança, Cávado and Ave, and Viana do Castelo, which, in their totality, forms an academic community of more than 32,000 students, 2,000 teachers and 1,000 non-teaching staff.
The Erasmus NOW Consortium Portugal associates companies and institutions representing the labor market of the Northern Region of Portugal and promotes collaboration with other Erasmus consortia in the country and in Europe.
Objectives
The development of professional skills in boyh national and European students, promoting vocational training and applied research, as well as the insertion in the active life and the employability in the national and European space;
The development of Portuguese and European companies, promoting the contribution of trainees in higher education, as well as the promotion of their international relations and insertion in the European market;
Increased mobility of students, teachers and staff, contributing to the consolidation of the Erasmus + Program and promoting the relationship between higher education institutions, students and companies from countries all over European Union.
