BSc: 3 years ( 180 ECTS units ) Civil Engineering is present in all human constructions, ensuring a sustainable balance between the built environment and the natural world. Indispensable to the development of cities and major infrastructures, such as bridges, tunnels or skyscrapers, it also deals with the construction of transport networks, water supply, urban regeneration and project management. With the BSc in Civil Engineering, ISEP trains engineers capable of running the strategic management of construction, maintenance and rehabilitation projects. Students develop skills to plan, coordinate and supervise sustainable construction projects. The study plan is designed to combine classical knowledge in structures, infrastructure, materials and plumbing with new technologies and automatic tools. It includes laboratory practices, seminars with industry experts, field work and visits to companies in order to allow students to contact real-world demands and test their knowledge. In recent years, ISEP students developed projects of construction management, rehabilitation works, energy efficiency of buildings, application of BIM methodologies, highway, rail and hydraulics projects, among others. Postgraduate Studies Graduate students can continue their specialization with the MSc in Civil Engineering .
