BSc: 3 years ( 180 ECTS units )

Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering works with soils, underground and rocks. It explores the potential of engineering and earth sciences to implement construction projects, the sustainable extraction of natural resources and environmental protection projects. Excavations of subway tunnels, natural gas drilling, coastal areas preservation and explosive dismantling are just a few activities of this broad field of study.

With the BSc in Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Engineering, ISEP trains engineers to analyse, plan and manage projects concerning geo-engineering, geosciences and geotechnology. Designed for people who desire to combine field and office work, the course has a strong technology and innovation-oriented perspective.

The curriculum develops knowledge of physics, geology, technical design, soil mechanics and project management. Our practical learning method ensures students can test and develop logical thinking and problem solving skills. Throughout the course, students can participate in field trips to contact companies and acquire a real perspective of their future jobs.
