- The courses main aim is to train professionals to:
- Intervene in the production and transformation of new products in numerous health sectors, in the areas of human/animal diagnosis and therapeutics;
- Develop and create organisms with optimized characteristics
- Contribute to the production of new therapeutic molecules and biopharmaceuticals;
- Conduct sessions and prevention campaigns linked to the manipulation of cells and microorganisms, as well as other chemical and biological products
- Manipulate, prepare and generate cells, microorganisms or (bio)chemical and bio(nano)materials
- In this way, the graduate in Medical Biotechnology contributes to the development of innovative instruments and strategies susceptible of having an impact on the areas of prevention, diagnosis, therapy and rehabilitation.
