he Superior Professional Technical course in Furniture and Spatial Design will provide students with technical, practical and theoretical/contextual tools, necessary for working within the professional and industrial fields of furniture production and spatial/interior design. The emphasis within the program will always be that of professional production, and students will have a multidisciplinary profile, capable of adapting to contemporary trends and future thinking.

The technical, practical and theoretical structure is constructed in such a way as to be contextualized through production-based projects. This methodology will allow for the acquisition of both skills and knowledge through designing, planning and making.

Throughout the two-years of the program students will cover a variety of project types, within which they can apply both skills and knowledge and the environment will be one of experimentation and collaborative participation. In parallel, students will participate in a number of designs led workshops and always within a real-world context.

Furniture companies will work closely with the course and students will be asked to elaborate/present their work as being production ready and reflecting professional/industrial values.

Students will learn how to work within contemporary and historical contexts, as well as acquiring the appropriate technical language, necessary for them to operate within the sector. By providing students with both theoretical, technical and practical skills, and through the use of case-studies and first-hand experience, students will be ready to enter the professional reality that is this industry and have to tools they need to succeed.
