Projects

Organizations interested in participating in the Erasmus + program may be involved in a range of development and networking activities, including the strategic improvement of the professional skills of their staff, the development of organizational capacities and the creation of transnational partnerships for cooperation with organizations from other countries, with a view to achieving innovative results and exchanging good practice.

Key action 2: Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices

Key action 2 aims to develop the education, training and youth sectors through five main activities:

Strategic Partnerships to support innovation and joint initiatives to promote cooperation, peer learning and the exchange of experiences.

Knowledge Alliances aim at strengthening Europe's innovation capacity and at fostering innovation in higher education and business, develop new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches to teaching and learning, stimulate entrepreneurship and entrepreneurial skills of higher education teaching staff and company staff; facilitate the exchange, flow and co-creation of knowledge;  and modernize higher education systems in Europe.

Sector Skills Alliances aim at tackling skills gaps with regard to one or more occupational profiles in a specific sector. They do so by identifying existing or emerging sector-specific labour market needs (demand side), and by enhancing the responsiveness of initial and continuing vocational education and training (VET) systems, at all levels, to the labour market needs (supply side).

Capacity-building projects in the field of higher education to support the modernization, accessibility and internationalization of higher education in partner countries.

Capacity-building projects in the field of youth to improve the development of youth work, non-formal learning and voluntary work, as well as to promote non-formal learning opportunities with partner countries.
